Stories
How long does a new story take?
Moonfox prepares tonight's episode during the afternoon so it's ready at bedtime. If you make one on the spot, it takes several minutes. That's a good time for the Bedtime Quest.
Why does only one new stop open each night?
So bedtime stays calm and there's something to look forward to tomorrow. Every stop you've visited replays at any time. If you need to, you can open the next stop early from Parent settings → The map.
A story or picture wasn't right. What should I do?
Open the story's picture book, go to the last page and tap Report a problem, or use Parent settings → History. We review every report, and you can delete the story there too.
Do stories work without internet?
Yes. Once a story is made, every picture and word is saved on the iPhone.
Can I leave my child's name out?
Yes. Turn on Private mode in Parent settings and the narrator says “little dreamer” instead.
Family and friends
How do I add another child?
Parent settings → Children → Add a child. Each child has their own world, friends and map, and you can switch between them from the home screen.
How does a family goodnight work?
In Parent settings → Family goodnights, create a link and send it to a relative. They open it on their own phone, record up to three short messages, and one plays after the story's goodnight.
My toy photo was refused.
Moonfox never turns photos of people into characters. Try again with no hands or faces in the picture, close up and in good light.
Subscription
What's free?
Your first three new stories are free, and every story you've made replays free forever. Moonfox Premium adds up to 20 new stories a month.
How do I cancel?
Parent settings → Moonfox Premium → Manage subscription, or in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
I paid but Premium isn't showing.
Parent settings → Moonfox Premium → Restore purchases, while signed in with the same Apple ID. If that doesn't work, email us.
Refunds
Apple handles refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Privacy and data
What does Moonfox send, and to whom?
Only what's needed to make a story, sent through our server to the AI service that writes, draws and narrates it. There are no ads and no trackers. The full details are in the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete everything?
Parent settings → Delete everything removes every profile, story, picture and voice from the iPhone. To delete the server copies of your stories and recordings too, email us your support code.
