Moonfox turns the part of the evening everyone dreads into the first chapter of the story.

The Bedtime Quest

Your child's friend calls out each step (pyjamas, teeth, a cuddly toy) as a small quest. They say “done!” or tap a big button, and the adventure opens once they're in bed.

The story

Moonfox made tonight's episode in the afternoon, so it's waiting at bedtime. Your child is the hero, the words light up as they're read, and they can answer the story out loud.

Goodnight

The last minutes get slower and dimmer. The screen can stay dark while the story plays as sound, and it ends with a goodnight in your child's name.

A world that grows, night by night

The same friends, every time

Your child picks one to three friends, like Lumi the fox or Milo the small dragon. Each is drawn exactly the same way in every episode, so they feel real.

A map with one new stop a night

Each season is a moon cycle of seven stops. One new place opens each night and every stop they've visited replays forever. There are no streaks and nothing lost for a skipped night.

A toy or a drawing becomes a friend

Photograph a favourite plush, a pet or a crayon drawing and Moonfox draws it into the stories. Photos with people in them are refused, and the photo itself isn't kept.

A goodnight from Grandma

Send a link to someone far away. They record a few short goodnights on their own phone, and one plays after the story. They're real voices, never an imitation.

Something from today

Add one sentence, like “was brave at the dentist”, and tonight's story echoes it gently.

What ages is Moonfox for?

Stories adapt to three age groups, 3–5, 6–8 and 9–12, with simpler words and gentler adventures for the youngest.

How long does a new story take to make?

Moonfox prepares tonight's episode in the afternoon so it's ready at bedtime. Making one on the spot takes several minutes, which is about the time pyjamas and teeth take.

Does it work without internet?

Yes, once a story is made. Every picture and every word is saved on the iPhone.

Is it screen time?

As little as we could make it. After the first picture the screen can go dark and the story carries on as sound, and there are no games, feeds or autoplay.

Who writes the stories?

An AI storyteller writes and illustrates each one under rules made for young children, and every story is checked before it's shown. You can report anything that isn't right.
